


Welcome back returning Dawson Eagle Band Members! --- and --- Welcome new Members (and Band Boosters)! The 2nd Annual Rock-A-Thon will be on August 22-23! Checks for Rock-A-Thon should be sent to Melinda Sullivan (Treasurer) at: 3006 Peekskill Ct Pearland, TX 77584-4949 On any checks, please list: 1) purpose of the check (Rock-A-Thon, Band Fees, etc), 2) the band student's name (first and last), and 3) the email address of the parent, guardian, or student so that a confirmation of receipt can be sent. ======================================== Band Instrument Checkout Info: Thank you for your patience! The PISD Fine Arts Director and band staff are completing the last steps of the district wide instrument inventory process this week. This summer is a unique year for summer instrument rental. The district is beginning a new inventory record keeping system that will benefit both the students and staff. This will not be the normal process or time delay for students in the future. Summer instruments will be available for check out on Monday, June 30th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Please note that due to summer repairs every student is not guaranteed an instrument for the summer. However, the Dawson band staff will do their best to accommodate as many students as possible. If you are not able to pick up your instrument please contact Ms. Bates at batesm@pearlandisd.org.
